On August 17, 2023, the City of Redmond held its first annual Downtown Art Walk. The city-wide festival showcased local artists with dozens of exhibitions in parks and local businesses.

In April, Pride Across the Bridge premiered the Shes, Theys, and Gays, Oh My! Comedy Night in Bellevue, Washington.

The National played to a sold-out venue in Eastside Seattle on June 4, 2023, at Marymoor Amphitheater in Redmond, Washington. The band is currently on their “First Two Pages of Frankenstein” tour, and was the first show of the Marymoor Live Summer 2023 Concert Series.

This May, Angie Nuevacamina announced her candidacy for Redmond City Council. The political newcomer will be vying for Council Position Number 7, currently held by the 16-year incumbent, David M.
